Welcome to Wanderlust.

Saving one little snail will not change the world, but surely for that one little snail, the world will change forever.

Wanderlust Small Pet Rescue is a nonprofit organization which specializes in rescuing and re-homing snails and small pets that can no longer be cared for - surrender or adopt a snail or small pet today. We have six staff members readily available to answer calls or texts on (530) 559-6991, and our Instagram @wanderlustsnailrescue is open for messages and inquires at all times. Our email, wanderlustsnailrescue@gmail.com, is also always open.

We are a snail rescue organization that has just recently changed into a rescue of small pets in general. We do not accept any small animals (with the exception of snails) that are in need of veterinary care. The only unhealthy animals we will accept are malnourished/underweight ones.

Who Are We?

We take in small animals and rehome them.

For a long time, we were strictly a snail rescue. However, as of lately, we have changed to a small pet organization in general. These animals include, but are not limited to: snails, slugs, reptiles, rodents, and amphibians.

Adopt

Welcome a new companion.

Each and every one of our adoptable animals have the potential to make amazing pets. With every snail/slug adoption, we prove to the world that these animals aren't just slimy things you can find in your backyard, but are instead an opportunity for five to ten years of companionship and personality. Adopting a reptile or other small pet gives an animal a second chance. Look into taking one home today, expanding space for new rescues in need. If you're interested in fostering an animal in need, please refer to our Foster Program page. We hope you find what you're looking for!
